No Two Flowers Are Quite the Same

One of the things I enjoy most about growing flowers is how much personality there is in each variety—and sometimes even within the same variety. Some are perfectly round, some are wildly open and frilly, some are enormous, and some are dainty.
When someone asks me what my favorite flower is, I almost always have to pause and think because each is so unique. Growing them locally adds to that uniqueness because of how they respond to the soil and climate. That adds to the anticipation each year.
So which is my favorite? I don't have just one. In early spring, I love daffodils. Then, for the rest of the season, my answer is usually whichever one is the latest to bloom!
